Happy New Year, or Kung Hei Fat Choi as they say back home! We’re waving goodbye to the year of the Rabbit and ringing in the year of the Dragon which for all intents and purposes means 2 weeks of feasting and visiting family. If there was any doubt that living with two cultures was confusing, try starting the regular new year with all the best intentions to eat healthily and exercise, only to be expected to celebrate by pigging out a couple of weeks later! (But really, I’m not complaining).
The Year of the Dragon is supposed to be the luckiest year in the Chinese astrological calendar, so I’m wishing all of you fantastic year ahead!
